Focusing on the culture of Spain, located on the Iberian Peninsula, known as the crossroads of nations and a place where many different peoples have come and gone since ancient times, we will touch upon European history and art while also considering its connections to Mediterranean culture, the New World, and the Americas. We will delve into the mysterious charm of Spanish culture, which is European yet different from other European cultures, from various angles, and consider what Europe is, and what we are doing to become European.
