About the seminar:Reexamining the world from a gender perspective

We will learn about gender issues in various regions of the world through a variety of methodologies. Gender refers to socially and culturally defined masculinity and femininity. What new situations and problems in various regions of the world will come to light by using the concept of gender? And how can we reconstruct the world? With these issues in mind, we will study together for a year. In the first semester, we will read textbooks in a circle and discuss the contents. The textbooks used are a multifaceted examination of gender in various regions and cultures of the world, divided into theory and practice. In the second semester, in preparation for writing their graduation theses, students will report and discuss papers on topics that correspond to their interests.
