Face divination manuals were imported from China during the Edo period in Japan, and became widely read, but how did Japan accept the Chinese view of the body and nature? Also, what influence has it had on our way of thinking today? And what does it mean to "fortune tell"? While reading the original texts, let's consider the logic and philosophy of face divination, which continues to this day.
